The Averon’s lightweight yet durable design has been carefully crafted to blend performance, fishability and long term reliability into a stylish large arbour design. The reels benefit from open or closed frame designs, depending on size. Open frame where weight reduction and rapid spool changes are essential and a closed frame is employed on the 5000 EN and 9000 models where thin running lines or specialist euro nymph lines may be used. For over 150 years Hardy has been at the forefront of reel design and this newest addition is built to the same exacting standards and passion for innovation.
