Thanks to the new lightweight Airdrive Rotor, the starting resistance at reeling in is reduced. The total weight of the reel decreases, and due to the weight reduction at the front unit, the balance shifts towards the back part of the reel. This leads to a better balance at the rod, improved sensitivity, and better casting performance.
The reel body, made of Zaion V material, ensures a distortion-proof housing for the Tough Digigear, offering permanent smooth running. The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, yet tough, and significantly decreases the threat of tangling in combination with the new bail arm.
The ATD Type-L drag ensures even and optimized line release under strain without high starting resistance, providing the required safety when fighting large specimens. The aluminum Longcast ABS spool features a special spool rim that contributes to longer casting distances. The Twistbuster III design at the line roller is perfect for braided lines: the braid doesn’t get compressed during retrieving, reducing twist. The CNC-cut aluminum handle is firmly screwed into the body for instant contact.
